MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF SCIENCE

The Armillary Sphere and Astrolabe used on stage are part of the handling collection at the Museum of the History of Science, Broad Street, Oxford. The Museum houses the finest collection of armillary_sphereearly instruments in the oldest purpose-built museum in the world. The displays of scientific instruments from across the ages are enhanced by temporary exhibitions and regular educational activities for children, adults and schools.
